Dude, go get a life ! - 11:08 am
Funny Stuff , Gaming , Health  -  poster

In regards to the previous entry "Gamers, keep an eye on your health" that I posted last week ago.... Well, no worries mate, here comes the cure for you gamers that are seriously addicted to the game. Read this article from The Sunday Times via Australian IT.

Quote:
A DUTCH clinic that has begun offering the world's first treatment for computer game addicts has been overwhelmed with pleas for help from parents and children all over the world...

One of their patient is going too extreme on gamings...
Quote:
Tim, a 21-year-old from Utrecht, said he had hardly left his bedroom for five years because he was so obsessed by his computer games.

"My room was a mess," he said. "Curtains drawn, pizza boxes, empty bottles and junk food wrappers everywhere ... I didn't even get up to use the bathroom but peed in a bottle while I kept playing."

Well, I can understand those pizza boxes, empty cans & junk food wrappers everywhere as long as it's still under control (no ants/mice/cockroach/flies or whatever)... but peeing in a bottle while you play...? Yucks ! I wonder Tim eat those pizzas with bare hands or gloves...

Anyway, the best way to cure yourself if you're addicted to games is - "Dude, go get a life you noob!" I bet you heard this thousand of times from those kiddies saying to other kiddies.. or even to you haha... But I think it's really true, just turn your focus to over things and you'll say bye-bye to games. It's easier than quitting smoking or drugs. You don't even have to patch yourself to quit game =)

New cigarette package - 9:25 pm
Funny Stuff , Health  -  poster

Cigarette Warning
Smokers out there, have you notice the new cigarette packing in Australia?

" After March 1, 2006, cigarettes sold in Australia must be packaged with the following health warnings. The warnings must cover 30% of the front and 90% of the back of the cigarette package.

Seven warnings are rotated within brands, and after 12 months, a different set of seven warnings is used. "

To me, it really doesn't matter since most of the smokers they just smoke... who cares the packaging looks uber cool or ugly while what they really need is a cigarette in their mouth ?
Cigarette Warning
In my opinion, there wont be huge direct impact to the smoker even the picture covers 100% of the cigarette package. Everybody knows smoking kills... but who gives a damn on that ? ;)

There are only 2 types of smokers, one is those that afford to pay for smoking and the other type they just not willing to pay extra money for cigarettes. Obviously, cigarettes are still consider cheap unless you're a heavy smoker that smokes 2 or more packets a day. It's hell cheap in some countries that you can just burn them and act as mosquito repel... or at least kill the mosquito with cancer. So, to really reduce the smoking, government just have to tax alot more on cigarettes to make it feels like it's not a cheap thing to own it.

For more pictures for the packaging, visit Australia cigarette warnings.

All tobacco products have been medically proven to considerably shorten lifespans. You CAN quit smoking. Call Quitline 131 848, talk to your doctor or pharmacist, or visit www.quitnow.info.au

Lastly, enjoy the pictures while you smoke. (will you quit smoking after looking at the picture? nah...)
